The Force Behind Us – 31 days to go

Posted by:

Whichever power and force is behind the remarkable events Anton and I have experienced individually and together since last year November we feel completely safe in our decision and have weighed the process against all the other opportunities here in South Africa.

I see many thoughts and ideas over time that have shaped us and created a society where our children should feel free enough to dream of limitless opportunities, to be ...

Karma Yoga…my last days

Pictures are worth a thousand words…

There are not enough words to express the feelings of gratitude I have for being fortunate enough to help the people of Rishikesh. Today the babas received soap and facecloths – part of donations received in kindness, and to those who contributed I am very grateful. The final days are here as I plan my departure on Monday 21 July to travel for one week in India before going back home. I will continue to ...

Floods of Love

Posted by:

I’ve been awake listening to the rain. It woke me up at 01h45 and I opened my door to the downpour and a cool breeze on my face. I was very young when my mind and body went through trauma and I became separated from myself…

The course is in it’s third day and already I feel that so many questions have been answered and I have been able to affirm what I’ve been feeling for some months. Here there is no rule that what you are being taught you must learn and accept or if you disagree or there is ...

The Journey Begins

Posted by:

I feel alive…as alive as a newborn baby.

The second day of our yoga regime and everything’s falling into place, and by this I mean the purpose for being here.

Yesterday I felt very emotional and unstable. I’d had a bad nights sleep and awoke too early, was not used to my surroundings or my room – emphasis here on the bed and bathroom facilities. The noise here just didn’t seem to end and the headache worsened. Our group of yogis which ...
