I endured a visit to the doctor last week for an update on travel vaccinations. Tokai Medicross has a designated travel doctor registered with SASTM (South African Society of Travel Medicine).  She was very thorough discussing the locations of different diseases in India. I left with a pricked finger (checked for diabetes), a sting in the butt (B12) and two injections, one in each shoulder (Tdacp IPV and Typhoid and Hepatitis A…still bruised). Some of life’s biggest reveals happen later in life…when we’ve tried and failed and tried something else and finally the attempts mould and push us towards a destiny.  I discarded the corporate suites and heels for casual cottons and slops, accepted my failures and asked for help.
